Little City Farm is a small-scale urban homestead in Kitchener. We are dedicated to promoting urban agriculture, basic homesteading skills, and hands-on sustainable living in the city. All workshops listed will be held at Little City Farm, 508 Duke St. W, Kitchener.


Dr. Ingham will speak in the afternoon of Saturday, January 10 at Elmwood for Grey Bruce Farmers Week and then join EFAO all day on January 12th. Her talks on soil microbiology and soil health will be complimentary but each session will unique.


In this three hour, hands on workshop learn the basics of medicinal plant harvesting, drying and tincture making. Using Valerian root as the example you will learn how to harvest, clean and prepare this medicinal root for drying and tincture making.
